on beautiful Lake Michigan. Ludington is known for being one of the best fishing ports on the Great Lakes. With the promise of spectacular views, it's our goal to deliver an unforgettable experience with the hopes of landing the catch of a lifetime and memories that will last a forever.
Meet Your Captain
Captain Adam Howell is a Ludington native. Having lived in Ludington his entire life, he took up the hobby of fishing at a young age which quickly turned from a hobby to a passion. With his years of experience, Captain Adam and his crew have proudly reeled in a number of tournament wins. He is confident in his knowledge and can't wait to share his passions and love for fishing the Great Lakes with you.

Bear With Me is licensed and insured for up to 6 passengers but to keep the ride comfortable and to give everyone enough room to reel in that big catch, we keep the charters at 5 or fewer people.

All charters are 6 hours dock to dock. The morning charter departs at 5:00 am and returns around 11:00 a.m. The afternoon charter departs mid-afternoon, typically between 2-3 pm. Customizable charters and multiple boats are available upon request with notice when booking.

A respectable amount of time goes into preparing for your trip. We are very dedicated to making sure you have a pleasantly successful time on the water. Showing your appreciation to the crew with a customary gratuity amount of 15%-20% is greatly valued and respected.

A $100 deposit is required to secure your charter. Acceptable forms of payment are cash and Venmo.

Cancellations or changes to reservations may
be accommodated up to 21 days before
your scheduled trip.

What To Bring

Dress for the Michigan weather which means layers and remember that you might get wet

You're welcome to bring beverages and snacks but please limit a small cooler

No glass bottles

You must have an All-Species Michigan Fishing License for all guests 17 and older

You have the option to purchase an annual resident or nonresident, 24 or 72-hour license

All fish will be filleted, rinsed, and bagged by your crew and if you'd like to keep your catch fresh for your ride home, please bring a cooler

Lastly, bananas are bad luck and since we want luck on our side, please leave them at home!
